Allow use of logical operators when using segments
When selecting multiple segments it would seem to make sense to be able to specify a logical operator.
e.g. If I have a list segmented into A, B and C it would be nice to be able to specify that a campaign is delivered to addresses that appear in Segment A *OR* segment B
Currently the functionality is limits this to and AND operator. i.e. if you select 2 segments the addresses selected must exist in A *AND* B.11 votes -
Schedule data reports
Ability to schedule any custom data export to be sent to you on a defined schedule by email or XML.
Could be used for receiving a list of bounces and unsubscribes to update your own systems with.

Email report PDF export and scheduled export and emailing to pre-defined list is available in Update 23.
Similar scheduled export for Data Export is planned.

Seed/Single send to HTML and Text
When sending an email to a seed list for approval you can select to send it as HTML or Text. Clients tend to want to see both versions to approve them.
There should be an option to send two emails, one HTML and one Text, to the selected recipients in the same process to avoid needlessly going through the process twice.

custom unsubscribe link
In addition to local & global unsubscribes it would be useful to have the abilitu to set a custom unsubscribe link at customer level so that it is automatically used when a new button is clicked within the editor.
As with the current unsubscribe links this one will be exempt from click-thru tracking but will be tracked as an unsubscribe in reporting.

Will you be introducing send time optimization for email sending?
Don't know how feasible this is, but believe it will help to analyse recipient behaviour when accessing their in-box, so we email at a time when they are most likely to open the email rather than it sit in their in-box until they next do.

Pause subscriber option
Preference centers are becoing increasingly popular. I feel that we would benefit if we were able to offer a pause subscription button. This button would allow them to specify when they would like to stop/start receiving your emails again.

Enable lists to be viewed by domain breakdown
Provide a report that gives a breakdown of the makeup of a list by domain / email provider.
This would show a long list of all the domains and the amount of addresses that reside on each domain. For example, hotmail, yahoo, gmail, googlemail (would be the main ones) going down to all of the smaller domains included.
This gives the sender a clear breakdown of the makeup of domains addresses across their list, allowing them to make informed decisions regarding sending of emails even if inbox preview fails on certain mail providers. If Yahoo is the only one that… more

Use a URL shortening service to "alias" long URLs to shorter, easy to remember URLs
I understand the need for the long urls generated for text versions of emails etc as they feed info to your API. But how about using a URL shortening service such as bit.ly (or your own system) to present friendlier URLs to the recipient?

Inbox testing failure - common factors
It would be useful if Maxemail could identify common factors between emails that fail particular inbox tests.

Enhanced testing & sign-off feature
This would include having the option to send an additional email alongside the email that requires approval to your seed list. In here it would contain details of the email (such as lists assigned, spam score etc) and any potential errors identified by 'check email'. Recipients will be able to reply to this to give feedback or click on a link to approve the email.
Any feedback will be alerted to the person who created the campaign so they can make amends and it will be stored for audit reasons.

Add an "other" segment to Reporting
When creating a Comparison report by e-mail provider an other "option" would be very useful so we can not only see the performance (open, responded, etc) of the e-mail in each of the top e-mail providers but also compare this against the "other" email providers.

Snippet template upload tool
Where snippets are built automatically using product and customer data feeds a tool would be useful to allow the templates for these snippets to be uploaded via the Maxemail interface.

Correctly Format Imported List
When importing list information into the system, offer the option to correctly format selected text fields as they are imported.
This function will correctly format them from all lowercase or uppercase to capitalised text, typically used in firstname and surname imports.
The "=Proper" formula in Excel performs a similar feature.

Choose a custom profile field to add to any Quick Data Export in Reporting Summary
This would cover 90% of our client's requests and mean they didn't have to visit the full reporting section most of the time

Add % to click through breakdown as well as numbers and add actual numbers to Heat Map report as well as percentages.

Performance of e-mail over time after send
It's hard to compare the performance of an e-mail sent last year to one sent yesterday because the one sent yesterday has had a full year for people to open, respond and convert. If we could see the performance of an e-mail cumulative over time or run a report to see the open, conversion , response rate of an e-mail a day or several hours (for example) after a send this would make any e-mail comparable to any other.
